The SAN ANGELO COMMUNITY CENTER is designed as standalone building to complement the existing community room, originally built in the 1970’s.

The shimmering metal canopy takes its formal cues from the traditional gable roof of the original building thus leveraging the existing infrastructure.   The canopy tripples the usable area of the interior, while providing protection from the elements. It also provides framework for a Photo-Voltaic Array that takes care of entire energy needs of the new facility.  SACC will be the first ENERGY NET ZERO building for Los Angeles County
