A Los Angeles Home as Garden Pavilion

This house and garden are set on a hilltop plateau. Over the years the house has grown in tiny, disjointed increments. The house and landscape were reworked into a coherent composition.The Work was to add a new centerpiece to the house, making a new order of assembled linear elements in the landscape and in space. The new kitchen / family / master suite is the head of the house. Its roof, piers, groundplane, and pool - all loosely fitted lines - are its frontispiece
