Project Architect

Charlotte Hutton, Project Architect, brings a wealth of experience in a wide range of work from public agency projects across California to urban hospitality design to single family high end homes. She’s done extensive work with the National Parks Service, where her ability to work swiftly and with a large bureaucratic presence, has allowed her to complete Architectural Drawings for projects in Redwoods National and State Parks, Sequoia National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. With a Master’s degree in architecture from Tulane University, she has earned multiple awards for her projects, and is particularly proud of the new Public Library in Brisbane, California. Awarded 2022 People’s Choice Award, under $10 million, the project featured flexible spaces for learning and socializing while simultaneously demonstrating sustainable water practices. Currently, Charlotte drives several residential and civic projects, showcasing her essential technical expertise and love of sustainable practices and solidifying her as an asset to our core team. With two multi-family Affordable Housing Projects currently in Construction in Los Angeles, Charlotte has been busy Project Managing to ensure the projects when completed aligns with Lehrer Architects core principles of improving the local community through respectful design.
