Job Title: Designer

Required: Bachelor’s in Architecture & 24 months experience in architectural design. In lieu of primary requirements employer will accept Master’s degree in Architecture. Special Requirements: Must have demonstrated proficient knowledge of: REVIT, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Lumion, and Adobe Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).  Employer will accept Special Requirements gained through employment experience and/or academic coursework. An architects’ license is not required.  All work will be supervised by a licensed architect.

Duties: The Designer performs the following architecture duties:

-Prepare scale drawings and architectural designs using computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhinoceros and other tools, that results in a full set of drawings for permitting and construction, including design development and construction drawings such as interior elevations, lighting plans, cabinetry drawings, typical and custom details for all parts of the building;

-Provide three-dimensional (3D) visualization for architectural and interior projects, using REVIT, Rhinoceros, Lumion, and Adobe Suite software and other design software to create and develop design models and produce graphics and virtual reality;

-Apply REVIT to compile survey drawings to create a comprehensive site plan for context analysis, 3D modeling, or report graphics;
-Model, render, and montage rendered images into project site photos with people and context;
-Plan or design structures, including residences such as custom single-family and multi-family homes, commercial buildings and tenant improvements, and mixed-use development structures;
-Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, including job site visits to compile measurements as necessary;
-Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans;
-Collect and produce information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment specifications, estimated costs, or construction time;
-Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs and layout and plan interior room arrangements for commercial buildings using computer-assisted drafting (REVIT) equipment and software;

Salary Range: $85,000 – $85,000/Year
