Sunnyside

This 27-unit multi-family residence is designed to provide dignified, long-term housing for chronically homeless individuals. Fully affordable, the community includes 23 units for low-income residents, three for moderate-income households, and one manager’s unit. As a publicly funded project, it meets federal accessibility standards and California Building Code Chapters 11A & 11B, ensuring safe, inclusive design for all residents.Community amenities—including a ground-floor gathering room, on-site laundry, secure bike storage, and a rooftop garden—foster connection, sustainability, and well-being. Together, these spaces create opportunities for residents to engage, relax, and thrive. More than housing, this project is a catalyst for stability, health, and neighborhood revitalization—demonstrating how thoughtful design can support belonging, resilience, and brighter futures.
