Burbank Media District Master Plan

Initiated by the city's request to transform the obsolete power station at Alameda Avenue into public space, Lehrer Architects turned it into a branding opportunity for Burbank with a Master Plan for the Burbank Media District. Utilizing bold and cost-effective colors, graphics, and landscaping, the project will showcase the city's image on the former power station site and both sides of the 134 freeway, establishing a genuine Media District.  Lehrer Architects collaborated with Burbank's Community Development Department and Department of Water and Power to revitalize the outdated power substation, surrounded by media giants like Warner Bros., Disney, and NBC.
