Los Angeles State Park - Cornfield Master Plan

Lehrer Architects, in collaboration with Studio-MLA, were finalists in the master plan competition for the Los Angeles State Historic Park (Cornfield). Situated in Chinatown on a former brownfield between Spring Street and Metro A Line tracks, the project seamlessly intertwines history and modernity through three key structures:
Entry Pavilion, Solano Bridge, and the Wheel. Visitors explore distant places. In The Cornfield, Lehrer Architects and team created a tapestry of time and space, where history, community, and innovation converge.
