California State University Long Beach Parking Structure

The renovation of this heavily-used parking structure addressed issues of failing asphalt and an inefficient parking layout, resulting in a more welcoming entrance for the Cal State University Long Beach community. The project involved removing asphalt and adding 431 new parking stalls, incorporating drought-tolerant landscaping. New bioretention areas and pervious concrete for storm water pretreatment reduces the burden on the municipal storm water system. Additionally, the parking lot now features an 800-kilowatt solar array. The revitalized lot enhances both functionality and sustainability for critical campus facilities.

This renovation provides a welcoming introduction for all members of the CalState Long Beach community.
