USC – East Library
Description
The USC East Library on South Hope Street in Los Angeles presents an extraordinary opportunity to develop an economical, unique, iconic and attractive asset for USC. This project, and the process that enables it, is a model of how sustainable design—saving and savoring an existing historic asset—can honor the past and project forcefully into the future.
Located along Los Angeles’ most travelled boulevard — the 110 Freeway — this renovation and transformation will dramatically enhance USC’s visual presence there, and become a memorable part of the Downtown cityscape.
